Now that the election is over and in most cases the outcome is known, nonprofit organizations of all kinds are assessing the new national landscape and considering the implications for them, the causes they pursue, and the stakeholders and communities they serve. It is a time of uncertainty and, in some cases, genuine concern for the well-being not just of nonprofit organizations, but also of their individual staff, leadership, and constituents.
Whether focused on (among many other things) the economy, immigration, reproductive rights, free speech, religious freedom, civil justice, the environment, or efforts to protect and expand the rights of historically marginalized and disadvantaged populations, nonprofits and their funders give voice to the unheard; advocate for the needy; seek redress for the wronged; promote education, innovation, and creativity; and, in countless other ways, pursue the common good.
These things are always important, but in uncertain times, we take particular comfort from knowing that no matter what, the nonprofit sector is strong, resilient, and unwavering in its commitment to advancing our unending quest for a more perfect union.
Adler & Colvin is honored to support the nonprofit sector exclusively, and to contribute to its important work.
