Adler & Colvin is pleased to introduce two attorneys who have recently joined the firm as of January 2023: Of Counsel Andrew Schulz, and Associate Attorney Marianne Tassone.
Andrew has a long history in EO law, having served the sector in both in-house and outside-counsel capacities for over 25 years. He has extensive experience advising private foundations, public charities, and social welfare organizations on all aspects of their activities, including social enterprises and impact grantmaking (among many other areas). Andrew also has considerable experience in lobbying, advocacy, and government relations from his years working at the Council on Foundations. Andrew is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia, and is based in the D.C. area.
Marianne is a seasoned tax specialist who has applied her talents to support tax-exempt organizations and underserved communities. She brings valuable experience in transactions and tax controversies, and a keen interest in tax structures that promote impact investing. Marianne is admitted to practice in California and New York, and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
We are also pleased to announce that Jinna Kwak has been elevated from Associate Attorney to Of Counsel as of January 2023.
