Ms. Rodriguez is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of California, the Bar Association of San Francisco, and the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
Ms. Rodriguez has served as adjunct faculty in the Masters of Nonprofit Management program at the University of San Francisco, and has often presented for nonprofit professionals and legal advisors on tax and corporate governance issues affecting exempt organizations and their donors, including at the Higher Education Tax Institute and the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
Ms. Rodriguez is admitted to the bar in the states of California and Ohio.
Prior to rejoining Adler & Colvin, Ms. Rodriguez served for five years as Senior Associate General Counsel at The Ohio State University where she focused on charitable giving and advancement activities, as well as all variety of university transactional and tax matters. Ms. Rodriguez also served as Assistant General Counsel at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and practiced as a corporate transactional associate at Cooley, LLP. At Cooley, she advised both emerging and public companies in a variety of matters, including financing activities, SEC reporting and compliance, and mergers and acquisitions.
