TAX ASSOCIATE

We are seeking a hardworking and motivated associate attorney who wants to represent the nonprofit sector in a small-firm, collegial environment. We are looking for someone with at least three years of corporate/transactional and/or tax experience in a mid-size to large law firm, well-developed verbal and written communication skills, and excellent academic credentials. PARALEGAL

We are looking for a new member for our paralegal team. Basic requirements include:

  • Five years experience as a corporate/transactional paralegal
  • Must demonstrate that s/he meets the educational and experiential requirements set forth in California Business and Professions Code Section 6450 et. seq.
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and document management software
  • Proficient in LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other research platforms
  • Experience in basic Internet research
  • Ability to manage many complex and small projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation in a collaborative, team environment

Our ideal candidate would demonstrate the following:

  • Direct experience in nonprofit administration
  • Strong financial skills, including ability to prepare budgets and review financial statements and tax returns
